Here’s today’s dose of nature connection ideas!
Flash connection: Mimic the Motion
Go outside and notice what is moving near you like a tree swaying or a bird flying. As best you can mimic this movement in your own body. Try to find the object in nature making the largest movements and the object in nature making the smallest movements. Could it be that outside, everything is moving, even in the smallest ways?
Adventure: Start a Rock Collection
Head out to the wild or to your backyard and gather as many different rocks that look great or feel good in your hands. You can find different colors, shapes and textures. Once you have your collection, it can be fun to arrange them differently each day on an indoor mantle or place them in a small garden. Will they stack? Do they make a rainbow? What do they look like when water is poured on them?
