Daily Dose: Black Girls Trekkin

Black Lives Matter + Nature Connection
We are in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement. To respond to the call for predominantly non-black led organizations to take a break from promoting our own content, we have decided to amplify Black voices and share resources from organizations led by Black naturalists. Today we invite you to check out Black Girls Trekkin

Here's today's dose of nature connection inspired by Black Girls Trekkin':
Go on a trek:
Black Girls Trekkin’ reminds us that the dictionary defines a “trek” as a journey or trip, especially one involving difficulty or hardship. Challenge yourself to take a journey a little farther and more difficult than normal today. Run or walk at a brisker pace and venture somewhere you’ve never been, even if it’s down a different street in your neighborhood!

I’m not sure what to say. Quite frankly, Michelle and I overwhelmed by the amount of support we've been getting these past few days. I want to thank everyone for the support, but I also want to make sure that you continue to support the Black community. Don't let the support stop at just a follow, there is more you can do for Black organizations and groups. Shop from Black owned businesses, listen and amplify Black voices, and continue to strive to be better and do better. Educate yourself. Educate your families, your friends, and your coworkers. We still have a long road ahead of us.
